Breathtaking

I wasn't sure why you had contacted me at first as you were on my favorite musicians list (Of course you are now), but as someone that supports the arts I checked it out. I was absolutely not disappointed. The compilation is absolutely amazing, each has its own uniqueness and beauty. The music all had an atmospheric feel and a sense of otherworldly splendor. This is going on my wish-list asap, and if no one is kind enough to purchase it for me, I'll just go ahead and spoil myself.

If I ever get back into submitting animations for newgrounds again, I'll have to include some of your music (with full credits of course).

Reasoner responds:

Spoil yourself! Hope you were able to download a copy at this point, and thanks for the support.

Hmm

As much as I think the show Yu-Gi-Oh is an sub-par show, I can't help but hear it's theme in this piece (near the end). Although it may be unintentional, I must say, if that show had used something half as epic as this song, it might be worth watching. Great song.

sorohanro responds:

Yu-Gi-Oh LOL
Thanks for review. Now I'll go on youtube to search and see what was reminding of Yu-Gi-Oh and maybe change (or not).

Ear candy

It has this abnormal feel, a odd, but assuring amazement. It's rhythm was near perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed the various hertz bombarding my eardrums.

mr-jazzman responds:

Haha I'm glad you liked it. Expect more dubstep tunes like this one coming this year (and with better mastering lol)! =)

Very Nice.

Clean, with plenty of "feel-good". I may very well consider using this sometime in the future.

durn responds:

Glad ya liked it, T-T-S. :) Thanks for the review -- would love to see what you use it in.

Interesting

Though it seems reminiscent of alot of genres out there, this entire piece feels a bit random. To be truthful, even though this piece was likely meant to sound like it was orchestrated or simply classic, the instrumental were incredibly electronic sounding, this caused likely by having a single sound sample (instrumental voice) being modulated into different pitches and octaves, that ruins the sound quality.

Though it takes a bit more effort to do, I highly suggest you find samples that have the entire scale of a single instrument and use a program that allows you to set different keys to those specific sound samples. (A key will play A, B will play B, this is including sharps and flats).

GodSpeedIam responds:

I love how the closer you get to realistic sounding instruments the more people notice they aren't real. Not only are realistic sounding multi sampled orchestral VSTs incredibly expensive, but my computer strains and chugs with these 4 VSTs. Army of Angels was even worse. And to be fair...it doesn't sound THAT electronic. More real than most any synths under $200.

I'm planning on grabbing EWQLSO and EWQLSD2 some day but that's almost $1000 not to mention the new computer I'd need to run it. Check back in a year or two when I've saved up enough money.

And if a bad carpenter blames his tools...well then screw you and lay down yer own damn carpet. >:(

Woah, blown me away again.

This piece was just great, and once again, it fits perfectly with just about any animation in a dry run.

If it's alright, I'll probably be using your music in my upcoming animations. That is, if you don't mind the extra attention again ;).

Nostrap responds:

Great. I look forward to seeing it.

hmm?

Sounds.. a little like bullfighter there. Very interesting.

preffertobedead responds:

¿?¿?¿?¿?¿

Clarity 4?????
Originality 4????????????????????

WTF!

oh well...can't make everybody happy...=\

Alright

it seemed a little random in the beginning, and there are also areas where you wonder if a key should be removed. Overall, it was a good effort and worth the listen.

Plasmatic responds:

Thanks for the review! I really appriciate it. Yeah sometimes i do get a little crazy with the melodies and chords. I think the last chord has around 25 notes in it.

o_o Woah..

Wow, this is really something else.. I love the mood it sets, sort of a slow anger to some extent. Then it goes into an zone of pure chaos. Would it be alright if i used it in a Flash animation? (credit will be given)

Dj-PinkWalrus responds:

dude, hells yes you can use this in an animation!!!

Brian has spoken.

Wow.. interesting

It's rather amusing, i can't say i have really heard anything quite like this before. What did you use to create the robot's voice?

UltraSheriff responds:

I believe the robot is from an old synth with voices to learn kids english or something, there are a lot of words like... hmm... well, like remove and police!:) and the alphabet...

There is a time for truth and a time for peanuts... this is a time for peanuts.
